This is the Veteran’s Memorial sculpture and it is very well known in Cape Coral. It’s a pretty big piece of art that can be seen from a good distance away. All the cars driving by can see it and i’m sure most of them do look at it and admire its beauty as they drive by. The subject of this piece are the men in uniform. This sculpture’s purpose is to show that there are men and women fighting for our country so that we can all be proud to be an American, the purpose of this is also to honor our veterans that have fought for us. It expresses its purpose by showing the military men digging our countries flag into the ground. This sculpture shows that our community really cares about the people that are fighting for this country and so we want to show how much they all mean to us. Many people form here and all around show up the Veteran’s Memorial to view this piece of artwork and admire it. This sculpture is a full round sculpture, you can view it from all angles and every single angle is powerful in it’s own unique way.
