Tragedy Scripted and Staged

I chose Act 1 scene 1 for my analysis. As I watched the scene I had discovered that the interpretation does agree with mine. It looked like how I pictured it to look like for the most part. Of course from reading it to seeing it, the characters looked different that i thought they would for some reason. I also thought the ghost would be more ghost like and look less real then what I saw with the scene. The scene really does bring the characters to life and it helps you feel their emotions with them in that moment. The stage is pretty dark and they are more toward the middle of it but the stage is pretty empty it was just two actors and a set of stairs. The interpretation i got from hamlet is that he is clever but he is also kind of insane. I chose this scene because it’s the first scene of the play and it just seemed like an interesting scene to look at and read about.
