The Starry Night

It is 1889

And I see it as a sign

I wanted to make myself feel better

So I decided to be a trendsetter

I put the oil on my brush

And everything started to flow out with a rush

I chose The Starry Night by Van Gogh. I chose this piece because it is extremely popular and I wanted to look at it more in to detail than I have in the past. In this piece the paint strokes are very unique, he did more than just run his paintbrush across the canvas. I think my translation brings light on how he was feeling at the time he painted this. It shows that he was struggling at the time and I believe he just was trying to make sense of it all.
